If you are a Saab fan and you have been waiting on pins and needles to hear if Koenigsegg is actually going to buy Saab from GM – I am the bearer of bad news. Well – actually, autoblog.com is because that is where I caught this headline from. Koenigsegg is actually pulling out of the negotiations to buy Saab.
Right now – no one really knows what is going to happen with the Swedish automaker’s future right now. It is really unclear exactly what is going to happen but GM is going to take the next several days in order to actually assess the situation and figure out what they are going to do.
GM is really looking to get Saab off of their plate so they can move onto bigger brands but no one really seems to take all that much interest in this brand.

Have you been one of the many people that are waiting for your brand new Porsche Panameras? Well, the trek from Germany seems to taking a heck of a lot longer than expected. However, Porsche, being the fantastic customer-service company that they are, they are actually going to be giving out complimentary Porsche-luggage to the 195 people that are waiting for their own Panameras.
While that might seem like a weird – or odd gift, this luggage is not just any luggage, it is actually worth about $3,580, according to Autoweek and autoblog.com and that is worth more money than what I have in my checking account right now!
That seems like a really nice trade off doesn’t it? For me it does, heck I’d take some custom luggage!

If you have been following along with the General Motors news, you would have read that GM actually partnered with Chris Fesler’s custom car shop. Now though, we are finally able to reveal some of the pictures that have come out as a result of that partnership and I am proud to say that the 2010 Fesler-Moss Camaro is absolutely beautiful.
Not only is the 2010 Fesler-Moss Camaro available in two different flavors, but the overall appeal of this particular Camaro is incredible! Now – the first package is the Competition package and this has a $50,000 price tag but the upgrades like a supercharger and a six-piston brake system make it all the better!
If you are looking for another flavor of the 2010 Fesler-Moss Camaro, well, the Limited Edition package is just $150,000 and has everything!
Another recent unveiling involved the Cadillac CTS Coupe, a sleek, smooth, rather sexy two door number, almost exactly the same as the initial concept, which the auto maker showed in Detroit at the NAIAS for 2008. It joins a whole CTS family, consisting of the CTS sedan, the high performance CTS-V, and the CTS Sportwagon.
The director for Cadillac’s exterior designs, Max Wolff, has been quoted as calling the brand an emotional one. He went on to say that the idea behind the CTS coupe was to extend the potential and strength found in the CTS sedan.
The coupe is said to be Cadillac’s new focus, due to the fact that the car expresses the brand’s technical capabilities and design aesthetic.
Just recently in Munich, the BMW 5 Series was revealed. This is the sixth generation of what is rightly classified as a sleek executive sedan, and this time around it has what can only be called an athletic, sporty design aesthetic. The elements are wonderfully evolutionary and the proportions are perfectly, flawlessly balanced.
BMW’s emblematic and signature design is clearly seen in the car, with its long hood and the one of a kind kidney grille. The body is shaped rather like a wedge, which creates something extremely dynamic. The profile is both eloquent and elegant, but at the same time it is said to interpret, with a modern twist, the unique Hofmeister kink characteristic of BMW.
Audi recently unveiled their brand new A8 flagship. The car got its reveal just the other night at Design Miami. It was another facet of the auto maker’s celebration for one hundred years in the business.
The Audi A8 is made of a wonderfully lightweight aluminum. Its exterior is extremely progressive in its design. For instance, reviewers are wild about the roof line of the car, which is very reminiscent of a coupe, as well as the tornado line used to separate the sleek surfaces from the DLO. In a sweet bit of juxtaposition, the car’s grille is sculptured and rather three dimensional, in a way that complements the width of the vehicle.
There is really no doubt about it, the Audi A8 is getting a whole lot of praise, especially for its sleek luxury and smooth ingenuity.
Koenigsegg Group and General Motors have reached the final table deal with regard to the fate of the Saab. After twenty years of American ownership, Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg will have 100% control over the Saab brand.
The deal will be concluded after a few months and the Saab brand will know what lies ahead. Koenigsegg and GM will be handling necessary legal re-organization and discuss some closing conditions.
General Motors is expected to give transitional assistance for the operation of Saab. The Swedish government has also promised to inject some funding to the turnover.

For a certain time frame, Koenigsegg and GM will be sharing their services and technology guided by set agreements. The Swedish car maker plans to put into effect some solutions to revive Saab but it is a big job to prove for a company with only 50 employees that sell a number of $1 million cars annually.
