Money Guzzler #2By now, must of us have heard at least a little bit about the “Cash for Guzzlers” program put into place to give people incentive to trade in their cars for more eco friendly models.

The rules for this program have finally been posted by the government. Consumers will be able to get vouchers for as much as forty five hundred dollars if they trade in their gas guzzling cars, trucks, and SUVs for vehicles with better and higher fuel economy.

The web site where you can find all the applicable information is www.cars.gov. There, in addition for the rules put into place by the program, you can also find a list of those companies who are thus far participating in it. To be part of the program, a disposal facility hast got to certify that they intend to comply with the rules for safety used by the program, such as how to dispose of mercury switches and similar pollutants.
